From Kathmandu, you drive all the way to Pokhara. The ‘City of Lakes’ will welcome you whole-heartedly and after a brief stop here, a short drive takes you to Sikles where the trek starts. The trail passes through the cultivated farmlands, terraced fields, and streams along with scenic views of the Annapurna Mountain range.You will walk through dense forests, traditional villages, beautiful waterfalls, and diverse flora and fauna jubilant in the pristine nature.Ghalegaon is the ultimate highlight of the trek. An exotic Gurung village, it provides stunning views of Annapurna(8091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Machhapuchhre (6697m),Lamjung Himal (6983m), Hiunchuli (6441m), and many others with a magnificent display of Gurung culture and traditions. Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara|820m
The trip starts with a drive to the beautiful city of Pokhara. The ride takes you through the curvy roads along the countryside and thrashing Trishuli River. You can also enjoy the rural settlements, green hills, and scenic mountain views on the way to Pokhara. At Pokhara, you can enjoy the Lakeside vicinity and enjoy the restaurants and live music. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 02: Drive to Sikles|1980m, and Trek to Tanting|1580m
From Pokhara, a private vehicle will take you to Sikles.It is one of the oldest and largest ethnic villages in the region. After a short break here,you begin the trek downhill all the way to Madi River. After crossing the river,you trek uphill all the way to Tanting. The pleasant trek will offer scenic landscapes and curvaceous hills with the towering Himalayas looming in the backdrop. Overnight stay at Tanting.

Day 03: Trek to Yanjakot|1440m
Today, you begin the trek on a single track immediately out of Tanting and follow the trail to Chasu.The trail from here gets easier as you head downwards. Continuing along the Madi River, you leave its company from Sabal Danda and climb for a couple of hours to reach Yanjakot. The hills embellished with patches of green and similar vibrant of colors will keep your journey enjoyable throughout. Overnight stay at Yanjakot.

Day 04: Trek to Bhujung (via Pasagaon)|1625m
Leaving Yanjakot, you make a long walk to Thumsikot. Before reaching Pasagaon, you pass through several villages enjoying the views of the Annapurna Mountain Range. You also pass Gurung settlements on the way like Gahate and Nagidhar. From Pasagaon, you re-enter the Annapurna Conservation Area. The trek ahead goes uphill and then descends to arrive at Bhujung. Overnight stay at Bhujung.

Day 05: Trek to Ghalegaon|2029m
After Bhujung,you head on a straight track for a couple of hours to reach Ghalegaon. The village is largely dominated by Gurung communities and the culture and practices of the ethnic group are reflected on their lifestyle and ambiance of the village. From here, you can also see the views of mountain peaks like Annapurna III (7,555 m), Lamjung Himal (6,983 m), Machhapuchhre (6,997 m), and many others. Overnight stay at Ghalegaon.

Day 06: Rest and Exploration day
This is an additional day for resting and exploring Ghalegaon.You can have breakfast with the Gurung families and can get an insight into their way of life. You can also check out the village museum to know more about the Gurung heritage. In the evening, you can observe the locals performing traditional dances and other activities. Overnight stay at Ghalegaon.

Day 07: Drive from Ghalegaon to Besisahar to Kathmandu|1300m
Today is the final day of the journey. After leaving Ghalegaon,the trail descends through a small village and forest to the riverside. You continue the walk downhill to reach Besisahar. From here, you take the tourist bus and head back to Kathmandu. The familiar Prithvi Highway entertains you and once in Kathmandu, you can rest and stroll around the local market. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.
